Mirrors don't lie!

Courtesy: Google Images
I stood before a mirror,
dressed in white gown,
embellished with shining golden trim,
hair loosely over my shoulders,
white spring blooms tucked gently,
eyes calm and radiant......

      I close my eyes,
      to capture this moment
      and
      in the darkness behind those eyelids,
             I go into a dark tunnel,
             running furiously,
             holding my gown
             to reach the tunnel end,
             to reach to the light..........

                               Stressed;
                               I open my eyes,
                               to find a glamour princess,
                               white, pure and tranquil!

    I close my eyes,
    to seize this sensation
    and
    in the stillness between those heartbeats,
             I drown to the bottoms of ocean,
             swimming frantically,
             pushing the waters behind
             to swim to the shores,
             to swim to the land..........

                               Hassled;
                               I open my eyes,
                               to find a jazzy princess
                               snowy, still and serene!

  I close my eyes,
    to seize this sensation
    and
    in the interval between those breaths,
             I jump to the deepest of deep valleys,
             climbing swiftly,
             clasping to each twine
             to rise to the peak,
             to ascend to the zenith..........

                               Strained;
                               I open my eyes,
                               to find a glitzy princess
                               silvery, composed and compact!

Mirror
           What is that you reflect
            and
           what is that I see
           with closed eyes,
          between my heartbeats
          and missed breaths?

                  Mirrors don't lie,
                  So for last time,
                  I close my eyes
                  to capture the beauty
                  and
                        in the darkness behind those eyelids,
                                was the divine light;
                        in the stillness between those heartbeats,
                                 was the smooth float;
                         in the interval between those breaths,
                                  was the flawless ascend!
                 I leave behind
                 a limp, inert, lifeless body!
